The Bulldogs face a tough test away from home on Saturday (7 April) as they travel to Undy Athletic in Nathaniel Cars Welsh League Division One.
When the teams last met, the match finished in a 2-2 draw at Ynys Park. Gavin Morris and Thomas Davies had given Ton Pentre a 2-0 lead at half-time but Undy hit back through Gareth Cullimore and James Barnes.
Undy had impressed at Ynys Park and Bulldogs boss Lee Phillips will be wary of the Gwent-based club when they visit The Causeway.
One player Phillips will want his defence to keep an eye on will be striker Jamie Coombes, who joined Undy in February.
Coombes is an international for Gibraltar and has been capped five times for his country and was recently on the bench for their FIFA World Cup qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Coombes made his international debut in a 4-0 loss against Croatia and has previously turned out for Gibraltan First Division clubs Europa FC and Manchester 62.
The Bulldogs will be without Liam Hutchinson for the visit to Undy following his sending off in the 3-1 defeat against Barry Town United at Ynys Park last Saturday.
Meanwhile, Undy come into the match on the back of a 4-2 defeat at Caerau Ely.
Updates from the match will be available across the club’s Facebook and Twitter feeds.
