Hardy to make the step-up to Welsh League Division One

The Bulldogs can confirm that local defender Josh Hardy is the latest acquisition to the squad for the 2017/18 season.

Hardy makes the switch to Ton Pentre from South Wales Alliance Premier Division club Ton & Gelli BC. As a result, the defender is fully accustomed to playing his football at Ynys Park.

Hardy has produced some solid performances during the pre-season friendly matches and the former Bulldogs youth player will now look forward to making the step-up to Welsh League Division One.

Hailing from Ton Pentre, Hardy has been a lifelong Bulldogs fan and will be a popular signing amongst the home fans.

Ton Pentre play Blaenrhondda in their next pre-season friendly at Ynys Park on Tuesday, 1 August. Kick off is at 7:30pm. A ‘pay what you want’ entry fee will be operated for this game.
