Ton Pentre and Cambrian & Clydach Vale meet for the first time this season in Nathaniel Cars Welsh League Division One on Friday night (20 October) at the King George V New Field.
The current form of both teams couldn’t be further apart. Cambrian have won their last three league matches going into this Rhondda Derby, which makes them clear favourites for this latest tie between the two teams, particularly since Ton Pentre are yet to register a win in Division One so far this season in eight attempts.
Bulldogs manager Kevin Richards has had more time with the team since his appointment prior to last week’s defeat to Briton Ferry Llansawel, and will be looking forward to this latest challenge.
Richards will welcome Nathan Facey back from a three match suspension but will be without defender Josh Hardy, who is suspended following his red card last weekend.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are also sweating on the availability of new signing Harrison Gregory, who is awaiting international clearance from his previous club in England.
The Rhondda Derby between Cambrian & Clydach Vale and Ton Pentre kicks off at 7:15pm. Updates from the match will be provided across the Bulldogs Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages.
