Llanelli Town v Ton Pentre l Welsh League Division One l Friday, 15 September 2017 l Stebonheath Park

It’s a visit to top of the table Llanelli Town for Ton Pentre today (15 September) in what will be an incredibly tough encounter for Lee Phillips’ team.

The Bulldogs are still licking their wounds from conceding added time equalisers in their last two matches, leaving them without a win so far this season.

In contrast, newly promoted Llanelli have won all four of their matches so far this season in impressive fashion, scoring four goals or more in each game.

The West Wales club opened the season with a 5-2 victory over Taffs Well and followed it up with wins over Briton Ferry (4-1), Cambrian & Clydach (4-2) and an impressive 4-0 win over fellow title contenders Penybont.

The danger in the Llanelli team comes from their attacking force in James Loveridge, Jordan Follows and Lee Trundle.

The Bulldogs have several injury concerns going into the match, which could affect Phillips’ starting XI for the Stebonheath Park encounter.

The game kicks off at 7:30pm and updates will be provided across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
