Ton Pentre will go in search of their first win of the 2017/18 season on Saturday (9 September) as Cwmamman United come to Ynys Park in Welsh League Division One.
The Bulldogs looked set to pick up their first three points of the season in their last match at Undy Athletic, however, the Gwent-based club scored a last minute equaliser to deny Lee Phillips’ team.
“I think we should have one two games, that we’ve ended up drawing,” Phillips told tonpentreafc.com. “The two we drew, I thought we controlled the game and should have won them.”
Cwmamman have four points on the board from three matches with a win, draw and a defeat.
They picked up a point in their opening game of the season against Briton Ferry Llansawel and they beat Cambrian & Clydach Vale 3-2 to pick up three points. However, they were defeated 3-0 by title contenders Penybont.
At Saturday’s match, the RCT Fostering Roadshow 2017 comes to Ynys Park. Members of the RCT Foster Care Recruitment Team will be on hand for an informal chat about fostering. For more information, click here.
