UPDATE: Ton Pentre’s match at Caerau Ely has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Cwrt-Yr-Ala.

Heavy rain throughout Friday and during the early hours of Saturday morning have taken its toll on the playing surface.

Ton Pentre’s next game is away to Goytre United on Saturday, 26 November at 2.00pm.

Following this week’s excitement of learning that Ton Pentre’s JD Welsh Cup Round 3 match against Bangor City at Ynys Park has been selected for live television coverage, the Bulldogs need to get their heads down and get back to winning ways in the league.

Ton Pentre have been without a win in two matches following defeats against Port Talbot Town and Cambrian & Clydach Vale. It won’t be easy for the Bulldogs however, as Caerau Ely are the opposition.

Nathaniel Cars Welsh League Division One is very tight once again and Caerau Ely currently occupy fifth spot in the table with the Bulldogs two points behind in seventh place.

For the Bulldogs, it’s hoped that club captain Thomas Davies will return from injury following his recent lay-off. Meanwhile, Caerau Ely boss Nana Baah signed Phillip Quick from Canton Liberal FC in the week and could make his debut on Saturday.

The match kicks off at 2pm and updates will be available across Facebook and Twitter.
