Ton Pentre AFC have handed over two cheques to Tenovus Cancer Care at the charity’s Treorchy branch following recent fundraising walks.
A cheque for £565.00 that was raised by the Bryan Bees Memorial Walk was handed over by members of Bryan’s family that included wife Avril, daughter Kerryl, granddaughter Chloe and grandson Sam.
The staff at the Treorchy were excellent and welcomed Bryan’s family with refreshments as a thank you to them and the Bulldogs for raising an incredible amount of money for the charity.
Bulldogs fundraiser Mike Morris also handed over a cheque for £197.50 that he raised on the Rhondda Roller Coaster Walk.
Everyone connected with Ton Pentre AFC would like to thank the Bees Family for allowing the Club to walk and raise money in Bryan’s honour, and to all those who took part in the fundraising efforts.
The Bulldogs will be turning pink for October to raise awareness of breast cancer. For more details please click here.
