Ton Pentre v Briton Ferry Llansawel l Welsh League Division One l Saturday, 7 May 2016 l KO 2.30pm l Ynys Park

Ton Pentre know exactly what they need to do in order to protect their Welsh League Division One status. Win.

Following Monmouth Town’s dramatic 92nd minute winner against Aberdare Town on Friday night (6 May), the Bulldogs need three points from their remaining two games.

Despite losing 3-0 at Goytre in midweek, Ton Pentre need to go into Saturday’s (7 May) match against Briton Ferry Llansawel with confidence. The Bulldogs played some neat football against Goytre and produced many chances that could have determined a different outcome in the game.

Ton Pentre need to muster all that they can in order to get the required three points and produce the type of performance that they’ve shown sporadically throughout the season.

Briton Ferry are in the same predicament as Ton Pentre and currently sit third from bottom with three games left to play. They are one point behind the Bulldogs and at the very least need a comfortable win for safety.

Briton Ferry have reached the Nathaniel Cars League Cup Final and have only lost once in their previous five matches. They come into the match against the Bulldogs following a 2-1 win over Monmouth Town.

The match between Ton Pentre and Briton Ferry Llansawel kicks off at 2.30pm. There will be updates across the Bulldogs Twitter and Facebook pages.
