Ton Pentre v Taffs Well l Welsh League Division One l Tuesday, 1 March 2016 l Kick off: 7.30pm l Ynys Park

Happy St David’s Day! The best way to celebrate the day is to watch the Nathaniel Cars Welsh League Division One match between Ton Pentre and Taffs Well at Ynys Park. Kick off is at 7.30pm.

Both teams come into the match on the back of disappointing defeats. The Bulldogs lost 1-0 to Rhondda rivals Cambrian & Clydach Vale last Saturday, while Taffs Well let their lead slip at Cardiff Met University to lose the game 2-1.

Ton Pentre will be without Rob Blatchford, who was sent off against Cambrian for an alleged two-footed challenge. As a result, the attacker will sit out the first of a three match suspension. The Bulldogs will also be without Thomas Davies, who will complete his four match suspension upon completion of the Taffs Well match.

There is some good news for manager Lee Phillips however, as it is expected that striker Sam Small will be available for selection against his former club.

This St David’s Day match promises to be enthralling and those aged 16 and under can watch the game for FREE. For adults it’s just £5 and £3 for senior citizens.
