Ton Pentre Youth suffered heartbreak at Ynys Park in their latest Welsh League Youth Division East match against Caerau Ely, with the visitors winning the match following a last minute goal.
Caerau Ely controlled the majority of this game and deserved their 2-0 lead going into the final 15 minutes of the match, until the Bulldogs produced an impressive comeback.
Jacob Ovendale sneaked the ball into the net to make it 2-1 before equalising when he headed the ball into the goal from an excellent Liam Jones cross.
If anyone was going to win the match from this point it looked likely to be the Bulldogs, however, there was another twist in this entertaining match as Caerau Ely scored a winning goal in the final minute of the game.
Ton Pentre’s next match is on Sunday, 1 November when they visit AFC Porth for a Rhondda Derby match. The game will kick off at 2.30pm.
