TON PENTRE VISIT THE CHAMPIONS FOR MIDWEEK CLASH

Welsh League Division One champions Caerau Ely, paraded their trophy around Cardiff on an open top bus.

The Bulldogs visit Nathaniel Cars Welsh League Division One champions Caerau Ely on Wednesday, 19 August at their Cwrt Yr Ala home.

Managed by former Bulldog Nana Baah, Caerau Ely powered their way to a deserved Division One title last season and have been hotly tipped to challenge for top honours again in 2015/16.

The Cardiff based club overcame Garden Village in their first game of he season but had to come from behind to get the three points. Rameer Outlaw equalised for Caerau before Curtis Hutson and Jamal Roberts confirmed the win.

The Bulldogs also had a good start in their opening game of the season with a 3-1 home win over Aberdare Town at Ynys Park with Thomas Davies and Leon Jacka, with two, on the scoresheet.

On their last visit to Cwrt Yr Ala, the Bulldogs were hammered 8-1 and suffered defeat again when Caerau Ely came to Ynys Park winning 4-1. The Ton Pentre fans will be eager to see these results avenged in this latest encounter.

This Nathaniel Cars Welsh League Division One match kicks off at 6.30pm.
