Ton Pentre Youth were held to a 1-1 draw at AFC Porth today (3 May) in a frustrating performance from the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs had dominated the first half and when Calum Emms’ cross was put over the line by Aaron Davies to make it 1-0 to Ton Pentre, more goals were expected to follow.
However, AFC Porth resisted the pressure that was applied upon them and there were no further goals scored before half-time.
AFC Porth were a different prospect in the second half and deserved their equaliser in the 49th minute and will quite possibly feel disappointed not to have found a winning goal as the Bulldogs were frustratingly disjointed.
Nevertheless, the match finished 1-1 with the spoils shared between both Rhondda clubs.
Ton Pentre Youth are away to Bridgend Street on Wednesday, 6 May for their penultimate match of the season. Kick off is at 6.30pm.
