BULLDOGS IN SEARCH OF REVENGE AS THEY SLIP INTO RELEGATION ZONE

Monmouth Town v Ton Pentre | Welsh League Division One | Saturday, 21 March 2015 | Kick off: 2:30pm | Pen-Y-Pound Stadium

Action from the recent home match against Monmouth Town.

Ton Pentre will travel to Abergavenny to play Monmouth Town on Saturday (20 March) in search of revenge after the Kingfishers won the last encounter between teams when they met a fortnight ago.

The Bulldogs seemed in control of the last meeting until the second-half sending off of Ton Pentre midfielder Leon Young, who is suspended for this visit to the Pen-y-Pound Stadium.

Young was due to serve his one match suspension in the Rhondda Derby match against AFC Porth a week ago, however, the fixture was postponed due to bad weather.

The Bulldogs will also be without goalkeeper Neil Collins who serves the second match of a three game ban.

Following Afan Lido’s 1-0 win at Cambrian & Clydach Vale on Friday night, the Bulldogs will now go into this game in the relegation zone.

Ton Pentre have several games in hand over their rivals at the bottom of the table so the Bulldogs future is still completely in their own hands.
