BULLDOGS DUMPED OUT OF YOUTH LEAGUE CUP

Ray gets set to take a penalty kick in the match against Cwmbran Celtic.

Ton Pentre Youth’s luck ran out in the Welsh League Youth Cup after the young Bulldogs suffered defeat at Ynys Park against Cwmbran Celtic in Round Two of the competition. 

Ton Pentre were two goals behind before Kurt Hodges and Tyler Clatworthy scored to give the Bulldogs hope, however, Cwmbran Celtic scored twice more before Connor Ray’s penalty made it 4-3.

The Bulldogs eventually lost 5-3 and had Josh Evans sent off for receiving two yellow cards as Cwmbran Celtic booked their place in the next round.

Ton Pentre will have a chance for revenge on Monday, 15 December as Cwmbran Celtic visit Ynys Park once again, but this time in the Welsh League Youth Division East. Kick off will be at 7:15pm.
