Ton Pentre get a home draw in the FAW Welsh Cup

Ton Pentre have avoided the big guns in Round Three of the FAW Youth Cup as the Bulldogs will play the winners of Risca United and Briton Ferry Llansawel at Ynys Park.

Following their 6-2 extra-time win over Aberdare Town on Sunday, Ton Pentre were joined in the hat by Cardiff City, Swansea City and Newport County but avoided all three in today’s (Monday, 3 November) draw at FAW HQ in Cardiff.

The match between Risca United and Briton Ferry Llansawel was postponed on Sunday due to a waterlogged pitch. That match is likely to be played on Sunday, 9 November 2014.

If the Bulldogs can defeat the winners of that match on 30 November 2014, they would book themselves a quarter-final place in very good company.
