Goytre (Gwent) v Ton Pentre | Welsh League Division One | Saturday, 6 September 2014 | Kick off: 2:30pm

Action from last season's match between Goytre and Ton Pentre at Plough Road.

Following a 4-1 win away at Port Talbot based Goytre United last week, the Bulldogs travel to Plough Road on Saturday (6 September 2014) for their latest Welsh League Division One match against Gwent outfit Goytre.

Goytre have made a good start to the 2014/2015 season with 8 points from 5 matches. Their two victories were over AFC Porth and current Champions Monmouth Town.

Last Saturday, Goytre drew 1-1 at Cambrian & Clydach Vale but could have won the match had striker Craig Moses not missed a penalty kick.

Meanwhile, Ton Pentre produced their finest all round performance for many seasons after an incredible 4-1 win against Goytre United, who were undefeated before meeting the Bulldogs.

Dean Morris and Andrew Hughes will hope that the confidence will continue to flow amongst their squad on this visit to Goytre but the Bulldogs management team will be fully aware of the threats posed by the home team.
