TON PENTRE YOUTH DEFEAT PENYBONT

Penybont Youth 0-1 Ton Pentre Youth l Friendly Match l Sunday, 24 August 2014 l Bryntirion Park

Ton Pentre Youth maintained their 100% pre-season friendly record with their toughest test yet at Penybont Youth.

The young Bulldogs beat the Welsh League Youth Division West outfit 1-0 on their 3G pitch at Bryntirion Park.

A long range effort from 25-yards forced the Penybont Youth goalkeeper into making a save but he was unable to hold on to the ball. This allowed Aaron Evans to sweep in and fire the ball into the net to give Ton Pentre Youth an excellent win.

The win however, was marred by disappointing news as defender Josh Hardy had to make a trip to the hospital with a suspected broken leg.

Everyone connected to the Club wishes Josh a speedy recovery.
