Kick off: 2.00pm

Following an early morning pitch inspection at their Pri Deri Park home, West End have informed the Bulldogs that today’s Nathaniel Cars Welsh League Division One match is on.

West EndDespite all the rain over the past week, the playing surface at Pri Deri Park has been deemed playable.

This will be a crunch match for both teams as West End will hope that home advantage over a vulnerable Ton Pentre, who are without a win in seven consecutive matches, will allow them to build upon a 2-1 triumph against title favourites Haverfordwest County in their last match at the end of January.

West End are the reigning Division One champions but before victories over Haverfordwest and Aberdare Town, they had been struggling in the League and were bottom of the table for several months. They are now second from bottom, five points behind Ton Pentre with two games in hand.

The Bulldogs come into this match following a disappointing 3-0 defeat at local rivals Cambrian & Clydach Vale last Saturday, and Dean Morris, along with his squad, will be hoping for better fortune today against West End.
