Only a handful of matches got underway last weekend in all three divisions, with just two of the seven scheduled games in Division One taking place at Monmouth Town and Cambrian & Clydach Vale, who utilised their 3G pitch.

Cambrian are home again on Saturday (4th January) and their game is the only certainty out of all six scheduled fixtures.

If Ynys Park does get passed playable, the Bulldogs can look forward to welcoming Cwmbran Celtic, who are currently third from bottom in Division One with 9 points from 13 matches. When the teams met in September they played out a 1-1 draw with Leon Young scoring for Ton Pentre.

Bulldogs manager Dean Morris, will be without suspended defenders Ross Porter and Thomas Davies for the game, who both have one match suspensions. Striker Ross Fowler is also expected to miss the match through injury.

A pitch inspection will be conducted on Saturday morning and we will bring you the very latest across TonPentreAFC.com, Twitter and Facebook.
