Ton Pentre are set for their fifth successive away match as the Bulldogs visit Goytre United on Friday (20th December) night.

Goytre United FCUnfortunately, the weather forecast is bleak for this festive fixture with much of the country having already experiencing some severe rain storms.

If this Division One match does go ahead at the Glenhafod Park Stadium, the Bulldogs will be in for a very tough test as the Goyts are vastly improved from last season, with much experience amongst their ranks.

Ton Pentre will go into the match on the back of a very disappointing performance against Pontardawe Town, who beat the Bulldogs 4-2 playing with 10 men for over half of the game.

This latest result leaves Ton Pentre looking over their shoulders at the teams towards the bottom of the table and the management team will be acutely aware that they will need to start picking up more points.

The players will be eager to get a run together and although Goytre pose much danger, they will relish the opportunity of getting an unexpected away win, if the match beats the weather.

With the weather forecast in mind, we will look to update you as soon as we can on the status of the match across TonPentreAFC.com, Twitter and Facebook.

Please note that there will be no Bulldogs Live Score service for this Welsh League Division One fixture due to network coverage.
