Wayne Jones has added Luke Borelli, Matthew Fisher and the experienced Tim Hicks to his already impressive squad in recent weeks. Borelli transferred from Afan Lido while Hicks joins from another Welsh Premier League outfit, Carmarthen Town. Meanwhile, Fisher steps up from Division Two club Ammanford.

Haverfordwest also have the talents of former Bulldogs striker Joe Leahy in their squad along with prolific goal scorer Jack Christopher and experienced goalkeeper Chris Curtis.

Meanwhile, Ton Pentre can welcome back Craig Rees and George Daly from suspension to bolster Dean Morris’ squad ahead of their visit to West Wales. It is also hoped that winger Lewis Hydes and Richard Ingram will be available for selection following their unavailability for the loss at Garden Village last Saturday in the Nathaniel Cars League Cup.

Haverfordwest have not played since 23rd November when they drew 1-1 at 5th placed Goytre (Gwent). Prior to that draw, the Bluebirds were humbled in Round Two of the Welsh Cup when they were beaten 6-1 at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

The Bulldogs have failed to beat Haverfordwest in their last six attempts, with the Bluebirds having won half of those encounters and the other three fixtures ending in draws. When the two teams met at Ynys Park in August, Haverfordwest left with all three points and you can read the match report here.

Therefore, the form guide suggests that Ton Pentre will have their work cut out at the Bridge Meadow Stadium, however, the Bulldogs know that they are capable of upsetting that form guide.
