Aberdare Town were victorious at Ynys Park a week ago when the Cynon Valley club came from being a goal behind to win 2-1. You can read the match report for the game here.

Last Saturday both Aberdare Town and Ton Pentre suffered defeat against Caerau Ely and Haverfordwest County respectively.

Therefore, both clubs will be eager to pick up three points in this latest match but the Bulldogs will have to do it without striker Dorian Sweet and midfielder Leon Jacka, after both players decided to drop back down the leagues to play for Ton & Gelli BC.

Ton Pentre will also be without the services of  John Edwards who is reported to have transferred out of Ynys Park to Taff Ely & Rhymney Valley League outfit Cascade YC.

This Rhondda Cynon Taff derby is sure to be another entertaining affair and we’ll be bringing you updates from Aberaman Park on our Twitter and Facebook feeds, which can also be viewed in the right-hand column here on TonPentreAFC.com.
