Bulldogs manager Dean Morris has captured the services of midfield maestro Nickie Jones from Barry Town.
Jones is an experienced midfielder who hails from Blaenrhondda at the top of the Rhondda Valleys.
He has been an integral part of the Barry Town squad over the past few seasons and helped the Vale of Glamorgan club to the FAW Welsh Cup semi-final last season.
Jones is also a former Wales schoolboy international and Morris will feel that his know-how will be of benefit to his Bulldogs squad.
Jones played for Ton Pentre in their 2-1 win over Llantwit Fardre last Saturday and put in an impressive performance.
You can see him in action again this evening (Tuesday, 6th August 2013) as the Bulldogs travel to Aberfan for a pre-season friendly at 6.30pm.
