Dominating Performance in Eight Goal Ton Win

Ton Pentre dominated their away match at South Wales Amateur League Division Two club Aberfan SDC, as the Bulldogs scored eight goals without reply and former AFC Porth player Andrew Hammett, bagged a second half hat-trick in the match after coming on as a substitute.

Ton Pentre dominated their away match at South Wales Amateur League Division Two club Aberfan SDC, as the Bulldogs scored eight goals without reply and former AFC Porth player, Andrew Hammett, bagged a second half hat-trick in the match after coming on as a substitute.

The impressive Lewis Hydes opened the goalscoring within the first minute of play before adding a second in the 19th minute.

The Bulldogs made it 3-0 before the half-time interval through former Dinas Powys man Steffan Davies.

Ton Pentre continued to command the match during the second period against Aberfan and Andrew Hammett quickly made it 4-0 in the 48th minute.

Two minutes later Leon Young got on the score sheet with his effort, before Hammett scored his second and third of the game in the 63rd and 67th minutes to make it 7-0.

The 8-0 friendly victory was confirmed in the 81st minute when Lloyd Toghill found the back of the net.

Ton Pentre’s next friendly is on Saturday, 10th August 2013 at 2.30pm when they welcome Welsh Premier League outfit Carmarthen Town to Ynys Park.
