Howe returned to Ton Pentre from Taffs Well during the 2010/2011 season for his second spell at Ynys Park and helped the Bulldogs to the Welsh League Division Two title finishing the season undefeated.

On his Twitter account, Howe wished the Bulldogs luck for the coming season and said that it had been “…an enjoyable few years.”

A spokesperson for the Bulldogs commented: “Jonathan has been an exceptional presence in goals for Ton Pentre over the past few seasons. We are very grateful for the service that he has given to this Club and we wish the very best for the future.”

Therefore, when Ton Pentre travel to Radstock Town later today (Saturday, 20th July 2013) for their first pre-season friendly ahead of the 2013/2014 season, the Bulldogs will have a new face between the sticks. The friendly match in Radstock kicks off at 3.oopm.
