Tonight’s (7th May) MacWhirter Welsh League Division One match between Barry Town and Ton Pentre has been cancelled.
The Bulldogs were informed by the League earlier this afternoon that the game at Jenner Park will not go ahead.
The issues between the Barry Town Supporters Committee and the Club’s owner Stuart Lovering have been well documented (a timeline of which can be found here) and there is obviously doubt surrounding our final match of the season at Ynys Park on Saturday, 11th May as the Bulldogs are due to play Barry Town again.
UPDATE (8th May)
Following the disappointment of yesterday’s late cancellation of Ton Pentre’s visit to Barry Town, the Bulldogs are still awaiting news as to the status of our home match against Barry on Saturday, 11th May.
We will keep you updated via TonPentreAFC.com, Twitter and Facebook.
We hope to bring you more details as and when we receive them.
