The Bulldogs will be hoping to capitalise on their last outing which saw them beat Taffs Well in a 4-3 thriller at Ynys Park back on the 8th March. Dean Morris’ men showed real character in the match to come back from two goals down before going on to win the encounter.

Ton Pentre were disappointed that the scheduled match at Monmouth Town a week later fell victim to the weather and the Bulldogs could very well suffer the same fate on Wednesday night due to the current freezing temperatures that the whole of the country appears to be experiencing at the moment.

If the match does go ahead, Bridgend Town will be hoping that they can use their home advantage at the Brewery Field to gain three vital points in their bid to escape the relegation zone.

Bridgend are currently third from bottom in the Division One table and a solitary point behind Goytre United and Cwmbran Celtic directly above them. However, they are nine points behind Ton Pentre in 11th position.
