Ton Pentre Football Club volunteer and fan Mark Reynolds will be laid to rest at Glyntaff Crematorium in Pontypridd later today (Wednesday, 29th November) where current and old players, management and committee are expected to attend a service in his memory.

Ton Pentre Football Club volunteer and fan Mark Reynolds was laid to rest at Glyntaff Crematorium in Pontypridd today (Wednesday, 28th November) where current and former players, management, committee and supporters attended a service in his memory.

Mark, who was 38, unexpectedly passed away on 13th November at his home in Gelli where he lived with his brother, and fellow Bulldogs volunteer, Kevin.

Since that fateful day Ton Pentre Football Club, along with Mark’s family and friends, have been left in a state of shock and all have looked to help Kevin through this difficult period.

The Ton Pentre players observed a minute silence before their FAW Welsh Cup match on 17th November away at Pontardawe Town and tributes have poured into Club from Bulldogs past and present via the official Twitter and Facebook pages. The news of Mark’s passing also made the front page of the Rhondda Leader newspaper.

We know that Kevin has been touched by all of your tributes, condolences and memories of Mark and was equally grateful to all of those who attended his funeral today.

Mark was a character around Ynys Park and will be sorely missed. However, we all know that Mark will continue to keep a watchful eye over the Bulldogs.

Mark Reynolds. May You Rest In Peace.
