Bulldogs Ready to Visit Undefeated Porth

On Saturday, 1st September Ton Pentre will play in the first Rhondda Derby match of the season as they travel down the Valley to Dinas Park to play AFC Porth at 2.30pm.

On Saturday, 1st September Ton Pentre will play in the first Rhondda Derby match of the season as they travel down the Valley to Dinas Park to play AFC Porth at 2.30pm.

The Bulldogs are going into the match on the back of two straight defeats but will hope that Gareth Tedstone will return from injury to continue his good form. Ton Pentre will again be without the suspended Lloyd Toghill who sits out the second of a three game suspension.

AFC Porth will confidently welcome the Bulldogs to their Dinas Park home as the Black Dragons are undefeated after four matches with three wins and a draw. They currently sit second in Welsh League Division One behind another Rhondda outfit, Cambrian & Clydach Vale.

After Porth manager Scott Young stepped down at the end of last season to take up a coaching role at Welsh Premier League club Port Talbot Town, Adrian Needs took over in the Dinas Park hot-seat and is sure to be eagerly anticipating this match to relieve the hoodoo that Ton Pentre has over the Black Dragons.

There’s sure to be a large crowd for this latest encounter but for Bulldogs fans unable to make it to the game, we will have our Live Score service here on the website from kick off.
