Tom McCarthy scored four goals, Fraser Williams netted twice and Ross Fowler grabbed the other.
Ton Pentre thrashed their Welsh League Division Two visitors Caerau 7-0 at Ynys Park in a pre-season friendly.
Tom McCarthy, who only played in the second half, netted four goals as his pace terrorised the Caerau defence.
Ross Fowler and two from Fraser Williams completed the scoring.
During the first half Caerau had numerous opportunities to take the lead themselves but they were not clinical enough when they got themselves into the 18-yard box.
The Bulldogs made Caerau pay for their missed chances when in the 33rd minute Fraser Williams set-up a chance in the box that eventually found its way to Ross Fowler who applied a lovely finish to make it 1-0.
Tom McCarthy was introduced into the match following the half-time interval and the striker was looking hungry for goals.
Despite several efforts on target, McCarthy was forced to wait until the 70th minute to get on the scoresheet when his strike partner, Gareth Tedstone, played a well timed through ball. McCarthy hit the back of the net to make it 2-0 to the Bulldogs.
Five minutes later Tedstone was provider again, this time for Williams who scored a neat goal past the advancing keeper.
With Caerau tiring, Ton Pentre were in complete control of this match and in the 78th minute McCarthy netted his second following a solo effort that saw him sneak the ball past the goalkeeper for 4-0.
The Bulldogs made it five without reply during the 85th minute of play when McCarthy notched up his hat trick with a delightful chip over the goalkeeper.
Ton Pentre scored twice more in the final minute of the match McCarthy grabbed his fourth goal of the match before Williams bagged a brace for the Bulldogs to win the match 7-0.
