Wales Prepared For Estonia International Friendly At Ynys Park

Wales will play Estonia at Ynys Park on Tuesday, 24th July 2012 in an Under 19 Women’s International Friendly. There will be free entry to the match which kicks off at 6.00pm.

This match is the start of Welsh preparations for hosting the UEFA Women’s Euro Under 19 Championship Finals that will be held in west Wales during August 2013.

Seven teams will join Wales in the Finals tournament that will be covered live on EuroSport.  

Sweden were crowned UEFA Women’s Euro Under 19 champions at the Finals in Turkey earlier this month following an extra-time win over Spain. 

The Welsh team, who are managed by Jarmo Matikainen, are looking forward to bringing international football to the Rhondda Valleys as they look to gather support ahead of hosting and competing in the Euro Finals next year.
